Type of a scam Employment
This morning at close to 5:30 in the morning I received a random text message from someone who says their name was Heather Morgan who says they work for Ashland Inc and says they saw my resume on Indeed. Thinking it was weird that a business would contact someone via text at the crack of dawn I contacted the Ashland headquarters and talk to their human resources department. They looked in their system and said there was no such employee by that name and they’ve had several reports that some scammers are claiming to be them. Attached to this report is a screenshot of the text message and the phone number is visible. I really feel that this phone number needs to be investigated and even called. Because they are a scam.
