I was contacted by an individual by the name of Justin Wilson claiming that I had received a one time grant in the amount of $14,589. Justin then referred me to Travis Smith with ID Number SS057 to collect the money for taxes on the grant. Travis was the one who told me to get ebay cards in the amount of $1,000. He then asked me to send a picture of the cards to him. He then asked for more money and that the grant will be on hold until I paid the remaining balance for the taxes. The total bill for the taxes was going to be for $4300. He stated he went to a store and got a Target card to help pay the remaining balance of the taxes. I have been in contact with Ebay and they were able to freeze the remaining amount of $35.

Received a phone call from Ms. Williams who claimed t be with Health and Human Services informing me that the government was rewarding
me the sum of $9000.00. The reason I was being awarded this money was because I had no criminal record for the previous three months
and I have a good credit rating. Ms. Williams said I had a choice of direct deposit or a money card, and all I had to do was give her the information. I advised her that if she was truly representing the government and I indeed was entitled to the money they should send a check.
Ms. Williams aggressively tried to convince me to give her my information, hung up on her.

They call you on the phone give you a. MAC# Which mine was #***. Along with this phone #3155631324 tell you to call that # then they proceed to tell you they will send you $9000 from the federal reserve government grant. All you have to do is send $250 thru western unioc, moneygram or give them you bank card. Once you do that they will give you a mtc# to get the money or they will send it to you acct. How ever you send them the money. Now this is suppose to be a free grant. Scam. Once I told him his name is oliver lee extion#505. That I was contacting you he starting saying no wait i didnt force you to send it. No you dont have to send it. You can just leave the money here etc.. Please check them out before they scam to many people.

the scammer called and said I had been randomly selected out of 1700 people in my geographic area to receive 9000 $ and that I could receive it either by direct deposit or by going to Walmart,walgreens,cvs,western federal credit union by going in and paying a 200$ registration fee he could not tell me what government system I was registering into they gave me a confirmation code for the grant and I have been called by a total of 3 numbers registered to Washington dc 2 of them are not active or real numbers those are 12028542216 and 12027594283 the one that is active is 12027806734

I received 6 calls in 2 hours from Eric *** at x105. They said I’d won for a $9000 grant (different phone calls cited different amounts). I ask how much I have to pay upfront. Then I get transferred to someone else who says I have to pay $250.

Person called said he was from the Health and Human Services. And asked me I was "John" . He verified my address and phone number. Said that I am receiving a grant of 14,566.00 from the government because my telephone number was picked. That I had never filed for bankruptcy. I verified the last 4 digits of my ssn and birthdate. I called that number and it sounded like the same person who called me. I’m not sure if this is a scam. But with the information they have concerns me .And if possible could I get a response letting me know if in this is a scam and what I should do. thank you
