Type of a scam Phishing
A Christine from HCL Delivery services contacted my 16 yr old son saying it was important that they reach me…however when I called them they would not tell me what they were contacting me about I asked if they were collection agency they wouldn’t say yes or no..they refused to tell me the nature of the call but proceeded to tell me they have documents but wouldn’t tell me anything but wantrd me to verify my personal information. I verified my name bit they would only tell me they are a delivery service..they then proceeddd to contact my ex husband telling him the same thing…but still would not tell me what they were calling me about. I’m concerned that I may be a victim of identity theft as I do not list my child information on any personal documents unless it is for insurance.. they wouldn’t provide me any information about thier company or why they were calling me my kid or my exhusband.
