my vehicle is listed on craigslist. the scammer initially contacted me on "behalf of her husband". Wanted to come see the vehicle but insisted on seeing a title history report from the specific website before she would come look at it. She said her loan officer said they had to see that specific report before loaning money. The website it took me to asked me for $25 to see the report. That’s where I stopped. I told her I have a car fax report if she would like to see that but I wasn’t getting a different report. The website didn’t seem to be very solid or sufficient so it made me question it even more. I asked her for the banks name and her loan officer’s name to check into things and she never gave me a name and just said the bank is Credit Union. She never responded again when I told her I wasn’t comfortable
