msg said not to click out of box as would loose all my computer info, but to call the phone # in the box.. I trusted the site as it was from internet explorer. Called they said I had no security in my computer, which I said I did. They said and was showing me in the computer that my security was not working and it need to be fixed ASAP. The company name they gave me was Growth zone InfoTech. and I needed to purchase security. used credit card for 3 yr security. Payment went to I-Zone for 299.99. The email address was [email protected] As soon as they started, I called my security that I already was paying for and found out it was a scam. While my security stopped theirs and fixed my computer, I immediately stopped payment and canceled my credit card. I do not have to pay the money, but have spent many hours changing things on the computer such as email addresses account #’s etc. to make sure they did not get my account info!
