Type of a scam Government Grant
I received a message from my Facebook messenger friend stating did I get my grant money and that he just received his via UPS. And that he would send me the link to see if I was on the list as well. I found out by calling my friends personal phone number that his Facebook messenger page was hacked. The fake site sent me a link to Stover James Arthur page stating he is a grant officer at US Federal. He messaged me about being approved for a grant and that I would need to send monies in order to receive grant check delivered by UPS.I scrolled further down Facebook and saw that they were from Johannesburg, South Africa. Phony Facebook Page. And Stolen Facebook Messenger account.
