Consumer reported by phone to ScamPulse.com that he received a call from someone representing themselves as affiliated with the US Government. He indicated the caller was foreign sounding and did not provide any other identification. She did provide him with an ID# for the transaction and requested the consumer’s debit card information. The caller indicated the debit card information was needed to deposit $9,200. The consumer provided this information. ScamPulse.com advised the consumer contact his bank immediately.
