Consumer received a call from Glover Lockwood Associates claiming that she owes a debt from more than ten years ago. They said that it was regarding bank issues regarding writing checks without the money to cover it. They were threatening her with jail time if she didn’t pay the debt, and that it would be a felony on her record. They said that she owed $1,000 to get her cleared. She just had to put $500 down.
