I contacted Dare Pratt about a kitten that was available for sale. I wanted to get the kitten for my 8 year old son. Dare told me the total would be $416.00 including shipment of the kitten. I paid a deposit of $200.00 via CashApp on December 15th. We agreed that the remaining $216.00 would be due on the day of shipment.

On the morning of December 24th, Dare sent me a tracking number as well as the courier information. The courier contacted me to inform me that the kitten would arrive by 8pm. I paid the remaining $216.00. I then received another call asking that I pay for a temperature controlled crate for $625.00 which is 98% refundable. This was all in an email. I sent the $625.00 via CashApp.

Dare Pratt continued to correspond with me via email and the courier asked me for $950.00 for travel insurance and I informed the courier that I will not be paying the amount. I contacted the airport and the airline and both confirmed that pet travel insurance was not mandatory.

Dare Pratt emailed me to find out if I had received the kitten and offered to pay half of the travel insurance and I pay the other half and reimburse him. I refused to pay it. Dare called me to talk about his concern for the kitten being stuck at the airport.

I texted the courier who informed me that the kitten would be arriving at 10pm. I continued to email Dare Pratt and text the courier but neither responded.
