Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

This company called me on 9/13/2016 claiming to be Fishers. They wanted to "verify our printer FEQ" and such information to update their records supposedly. They said they were raising their prices, but were going to give us our normal price for another 3 months and that someone would call me back the following week to verify the price and shipment address. Two weeks later my company received an invoice for close to $500.00, and having received no product. After researching this company and finding similar stories, I called them back. The first time, it was all automated, even the voicemail I reached when no one answered my call. Then I immediately called back and was faintly answered by a woman. I had to verify that someone had picked up the phone, she just said hello again. I gave her the invoice number they had sent me and she replied with "oh uhm, yeah they uh, broke some brackets in the shipment that’s why it’s been held up." I said I did not believe her, that this was deceptive marketing, that we were not going to pay the invoice and that the shipment was not authorized, which it wasn’t. She, again, quietly said "Okay, well, uh, I’ll, uh, go ahead and delete this then…." and hung up. This was nothing short of a scam. They claimed to be another company to collect what isn’t theirs.
