A message popped up on my computer and said that I needed to contact this company to get the virus off. They identified with Microsoft and said they could unlock my computer plus offered a lifetime service to keep all my computers virus free. They charged $600. They "cleaned" my computers a few times but when I called again the next time they said it was a limited amount of "cleanings" and wouldn’t do anything. I haven’t heard from them in almost 4 years and I receive an email that says it is a final say they need to get on my computer to take their "services" off. I explained those computers aren’t in use anymore and they haven’t provided any services in years. They said they could take off the "services" through a new computer. That made no sense to me. I put them off for a few days until I could talk to someone about this and have time to report them. I was told they are probably trying to get information from my new computer. I emailed them and told them I was advised not to let them on my computer.
