I was at the church (Beverly Drive UMC) when a truck of Hispanics approached me and said that they would repair the dent in my car for $90. They told me that they worked at Gilmore Collision Center and were on their way to another job. I told them that I knew people that worked at Gilmore’s and they were already set up to make the repair. Even though I told them I was not interested in having them repair it, they began working on the car (popping a dent out of the bumper). When they were finished they told me that it would be $90 and I told them that I had already told them not to do the work, but that I would give them $10 and they stated that it was supposed to be $90. I told them again that I was not going to give them $90. I am 93 years old and when I took the car to be looked at, they had damaged the paint with a torch. It only took them a few minutes to do the work while another one kept me busy talking.
