We were attempting to purchase a German Shepherd puppy from a breeder named Navat Barron from Baltimore MD. When we contacted the breeder via email he informed us of the process and after a small conversation about the puppy, he sent over the Adoption Application and the Sales contract. We carefully reviewed them and filled them out according to instructions given by Navat Barron. He informed us of the cost and the time frame to receive the puppy. We were told to wire him $700.00 for the puppy and with the service fee of Western Union we paid $758.00. On Sunday April 10th, we received the first of two concerning emails from the "Pet Flight" company. The first asked us to wire them $1450.00 in order to safely crate and ship the puppy even though we were told by Navat Barron that that was covered in the price of the $700.00. We wired that money under the impression that this was the insurance she needed to be flown to us. However, we later received another email from the "Pet Flight" company saying we needed to pay $1785.00 for her life insurance because her life insurance "expired" on April 9th. When trying to contact both Navat and the "Pet Flight" company neither would answer or they would hang up the phone. The "Pet Flight" company would not allow me to talk to their manager and repeatedly hung up on me.
