Received a call stating I had two claims filed against me and I am going to be served at either my home or work if I do not call and settle the debit immediately. Was given a file # to reference. Spoke with a Mr. Davis when I called back for more information (I received a similar threat last year and again a few month back). I requested information regarding when the loan was supposedly taken. Stated was taken in April 2011 and the email provided was for a company I did not start working for until May 2011. I never received funds from a Gateway Pay Day Loan – he said he was signing off and I will be served in the next couple of days and wished me luck in court.
This is a complete scam – others need to be made aware of this company and their tactics before someone loses a lot of money thinking they owe a back debit.
