We exchanged emails with what we thought was the wife Linda, her husband was a minister at grace baptist church and they bred the puppies because they loved to, not for the money. We answered a lot of questions so they could decide if we were a good fit for the puppy. In her first email she had said she was near deaf due to serving in the military, a bomb blast, so we would communicate thru text and email.

Once her and her partner agreed to let us have our pick of the puppies she told us how payment worked. A MoneyGram at CVS or Walmart sent to Jamal Garvey. That threw up a flag. We sent a last email saying we felt it was a scam and have not heard back. Please be aware, it sounded so believable.

After reading other scams, these people used the same info, they were the johnsons, god fearing family.

We exchanged emails all day, so excited to be getting a puppy. What sent up the flags was the way we were to deliver the money. A money gram at CVS or Walmart and was told to say it was for a friend because they charge extra for businesses.

Once we told them we felt it was a scam, we have not heard back.

It was so believable I was going to send payment tomorrow
