Phone message: Hello this is Matthew Walker. I am a process server for York County. There’s been a filed formal request for (me). Unfortunately there was a missed a missed summons attempt. I will be at your address tomorrow between 3-7pm. If you have a large dog on site I request you put it away because I need to approach the front door to deliver the summons. If you have any questions or concerns, I strongly suggest you call FSM and Assoc at 717-229-7349. He gave a case #.
I called the number and they really sounded legit. I asked where they were located so I could come pick up the summons in person. They said they have call centers across the US. They said their corporate headquarters is located at 4601 Bosque Blvd, Wako, TX which turns out to be the Extraco Event Center. They gave me a corporate # as 817-564-0191. When I called that they answered Mediation Company. I gave them my case # and they gave me the last 4 of my social which was correct and said I owed money for a credit card, which I actually had defaulted on many years ago. They had my correct address and also an address I lived at 25 years ago and said it was associated with the debt. They had enough info on me to make it seem legit although I have gotten these calls before and know it’s a total scam.
