Type of a scam Employment

FRAZIER HEALTHCARE PARTNERS is a real company with real services. Looking for work, I built a profile and posted it on Thumbtack.com (another legitimate company). Late August I got a text from Shirley Walker, someone supposedly representing FRAZIER HEALTHCARE PARTNERS (FHP), communicating they had a position available that looked like a great fit for me. Further, they had me communicate with them via Google Hangouts to complete an online interview, to send messages back and forth–even sending legal forms, including a Non-Disclosure Statement and others for me to sign, scan and email back to them. They even sent me training tasks for a week via email and Google Hangouts. However, today, September 9, 2016 when FedEx delivered my first "startup" check, it was NOT from FHP, but from a bank in Colorado and from a business that my Credit Union found out had been "permanently closed."

My Credit Union staff saw red flags all over this and contacted FHP directly, learning they did NOT hire people to work out of their home offices and recommended I, too contact FHP. When I called FHP, they did NOT know any of the individuals with whom I had been communicating. When I called FHP’s Seattle Office, they told me they knew their company had been scammed and were not to give out ANY personal information. Again, FHP is a genuine company. Someone has just developed a very elaborate plan to look like them/represent them. One person representing herself as my online supervisor is Valerie Milne, using [email protected] as her email address. This scam was a huge disappointment, as I needed work and they offered (supposedly) very good pay.
