We moved on military orders to Italy. Fortiva was difficult in sending our bills here. We kept making regular payments even though we did not have statements. Everything was fine until last month. We paid our balance down to $421. We had planned to pay in full the next month. Suddenly in ONE month they charged $406.17 in interest!! We made several attempts to contact them no phone calls no emails have been returned. They are taking advantage of us being abroad. What can we do? We don’t want this on our record! I have the bill to back this statement! We need help getting this huge interest rate waived so we can pay this off once and for all.
