Type of a scam Employment

I seen an ad for a work from home opportunity for FMRS Health Systems Inc. when I googled work from home jobs. A lady from the phone number 253-217-4010 sent me a text message. She introduced herself as Mrs. Doris *** the HR Manager to FMRS and thanked me for the application I put in for the customer service job. She said they had open positions for Data Entry clerk/ Customer Service and Bookkeeping. She said they do an interview over the phone or computer via Skype. She asked me to set up skype and gave me the link to do so. She then said the Hiring Manager would do the interview once I connected with him on Skype. She said his screen name on live: *** root or on *** *** send him a invite message to proceed with the interview. And wishes you good luck. When you go to Skype and put in pouler root he pops up and introduces himself as HR Consultant at FMRS Health Systems Inc. then sends you a link to FMRS website to look at for more info on the company. He then explains its a work from home opportunity. You have a 2 week training period where you will make $20.00 per hour and them after training you will make $40.00 per hour. Payable in accordance with the companies standard payroll schedule. He says the max hour to work per week is 45. Sends you a list of responsibilities for the job. Asks all kinds of questions about past job employment, 2 references, and the name of your bank, your name and address and phone number and email. He says they only need the name of your bank not the information. Just to make sure your bank name tallies with company official salary payment account. Then says they are sending you a check via FedEx and as soon as you get it you need to deposit it in your bank. And that it will take 24 hours for the check to clear and then you need to make payment to a merchant via FedEx overnight after the check clears to purchase software needed for work. I did contact the real company and found out this is a scam. The people apparently try to get you to deposit the check so they can get your banking information.
