Type of a scam Employment
A man called me offering a job opportunity to work from home as a tester for computers and robotics. He went by the name Alex and his number is (281)658-0514 he claimed to work for a company called Florida robotics and told me the website. I looked up the website and it looked ligit so I told him I was interested. He then "set me up" with a texting computer and I was supposed to "crash it".I was supposed to send pictures to "override" it, it only asked for pictures of my hand foot or face so I don’t pay it to much attention. I did this twice which he claimed I would be making $90 a day for four days out of the week. Today I was supposed to talk to his "supervisor" and set up payment. So they would need my address and bank account so they can deposit money every Friday. Luckily I called Florida robotics and they warned me not to give any information, report the number because it was a fraud. They were not hiring for a position like the one I described. And they said they have been having trouble because someone was pretending to work for that company.
