Type of a scam Debt Collections
Person called stating they were a courier and would be contacting me 16-17th to have me sign for legal documents. Gave me a number to call to get info about situation. Called number had all my past info address, email, social etc. The operator on the phone was very abrasive and was not willing to let me call my wife to verify any info. Transferred me to her boss and he was not as abrasive. But stated if I didn’t set up a payment of 100$ now I would go to court and end up paying 2500$. Couldn’t find any info on them online anywhere. But what caught my attention was the woman kept saying how with today’s technology they can tell where I am, when I take a shower, eat lunch. Then I asked her with all that technology how come you don’t have my current address as I haven’t lived in my old house in 3 years. That made her stutter at which point she said that’s irrelevant and "do I think these couriers are dummies and they can’t find you". I knew it was a scam
