I got a message from a friend that agent John Walsh with the Federal Grant Agency was looking for me because I was eligible for a grant and then had me reach out to him through facebook messenger. I looked at his facebook and it shows him working for the Federal Grant Agency so I talked to him. He told me I will get $246,000 if I send him $382 in taxes up front. I told him I don’t have that money to give him and he asked me to borrow it from family or friend.

Someone I knew gave me the information about applying for a grant.. They asked for money for delivering, processing, all kind of things once the first money was sent.. Now all payments have been sent and no delivery. I believe they are scammers

My friend’s Facebook account was hacked. She told me I had won $260,000. She kept asking to be paid today. She sent a picture in Messenger and it showed people sitting in an office w/a sign that said Federal Grant Agency. They wanted me to put $5400 on my credit card. I said I have $500. She told me to go to the drug store and buy five $100 iTune gift cards. Asked how many people were in my house, and how old I was. I’m 74. She asked if I owned a home. She told me not to tell anybody. I called the police. I don’t make enough to feed myself. It’s terrible what they do to seniors. They were very pushy.

Said I was approved for a 9k grant. Wanted bank information for a deposit. I asked to be removed from the call list. He said no. I said I’m asking and he had to or I was reporting him. He said if I reported him, he was just going to keep calling and calling. I said that’s harassment and illegal. And he said he didn’t care.
