Type of a scam Online Purchase

Website online for rottweiler breeder that was suppossed to be located at 118 doe lane, Garysburg, NC 27831. Spoke to us on the phone and sent us photos of the puppy we chose (very distinct markings) and agreed on price with seller covering all shipping costs. They had us pay to purchase the Rottweiler puppy using the zelle app through my bank and accepted payment. My bank assured me it was safe. Seller kept delaying shipment saying getting vet check and working to ensure shortest travel time and then to finally say shipping and sent tracking information with so called shipping company (Lonestar Logistics, Ltd.). We received tracking invoice from shipping co and spoke with them at 657-214-1232 to confirm airport to ship to and my address. The next morning, shipper says emailed me when I call to check on travel. No email so I email them. Tgey then email and call me saying I need to pay an additional $850 (That will be 100% refundable) for pet life insurance as they can’t ship without it. I contact seller who said he got same email and is working on it. He later calls me saying that I need to come up eith $400-500 of it and he will help with the rest. I said I don’t have it, they were to cover all shopping costs, and he could pay and get refunded to him. Then no word from either seller or shipping (and I called, texted, and emailed them every hour or more during day) until they finally picked up call that night. Seller told me I was bothering him and he was working on it and would get back to me the next day (now a Saturday after this has been going on a week) but puppy was safe and doing well. I told them I wanted a full refund and was then told they would look into it. Told tgem I was contacting my bank and police if money not refunded by noon next day (this gave tem over 12 hours). Then they no longer contact or receive text messages or emails. My bank says nothing they can do. No puppy but out the money and heartbroken .
