Type of a scam Investment
Someone contacted me on Facebook, then Messenger, claiming to be famous Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman. He claimed to be starting a business opportunity in Nigeria. Then he sent emails about the business. Then he asked me to send funds by Western Union to Nigeria. I did not know how anyone would use fraud in this way, so I went to send the money, and the person told me that the Nigeria address and contact number were scams. When I did not send the money, they contacted me with a different number, which was also a scam. They really tried to convince me to believe them. They were very persistent. This scam went on over a period of 10 days. I need this information to be made known, especially to Steven Curtis Chapman about this scam.
