Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Received emails advising me to look for package in the priority mail. Once I received package it had 2 money orders made out for 1000.00 each with a sheet of paper with instructions to deposit in my checking account and buy an Amazon gift card and shop at listed stores to evaluate the store. The money order’s were not made out to anyone just the dollar amount of $1,000.00. Once gift cards were purchased I was to take pictures of cards and send back to the listed email’s on the instruction sheet and several emails received wanting me to verify I had received the package. Never responded.
