Type of a scam Online Purchase
Inquired on an add for a vintage car and received a response from eMotorsWorld traders. The price was right and they indicated it included all shipping and fees, including the fee my bank would charge me for the money transfer. They then sent me an invoice with a bank account they claim was an escrow account to hold the money until I received the car and had 10 days to decide if I wanted to keep it. As this all seemed somewhat suspect I used a website checker and it indicated that the website was only 10 days old and that the country of origin is Russia. I then visited the chat groups where this company was mentioned and navigated back to the home page. From there I searched the chat group for the company name and found nothing. It appears that they are creating fake chat group cover pages by mimicking existing sites.
