Type of a scam Employment
I was contacted about a job opportunity via email. The position was for data entry specialist for a business called "Ecucha Regional Health". There was a "James Milner" who I was in contact via the Google Hangouts app: instant messenger. He conducted an "interview" via the instant messenger and post interview said that he’s to mail a check for me to purchase business materials. Once check arrives, I am to deposit check into my account and extract ($150) for a signing bonus, leave the remainder for purchase of work materials. Check amount was for ($2,680). Of course, I made it to the bank and the check was immediately deemed "no good". I’ve since cut off all contact with the people. The address provided below is the address in which the check was mailed from to my address. I still have in my possession the check, the FedEx envelope the check was in, employment offer letter, emails, instant messenger conversations, and phone calls received since receiving the check.
