Type of a scam Online Purchase
This site advertises low-cost digital copies of college text books. When researching the site I came across reports that said it was presumed safe so, being a struggling student, I decided to purchase a digital book. After my transaction was complete I received the download code but when I tried access it I received an error message saying that the page did not exist. After several tries with the same results I called their customer service phone number which is also fake. The number showed on my phone as Seogoville, Texas and the phone immediately hangs up before the first ring. This site looks really clean and, as I mentioned, there have been no negative reports on it…don’t fall for it. Fortunately my bank was able cancel my card and my purchase was $22 so I didn’t lose too much. I won’t have a card for 5-7 days but at least I don’t stand to lose more money to these scam artists.
