Type of a scam Debt Collections
Left a voicemail message on my phone to contact them immedietely. When i returned the phone call, the representative was telling me I owe them from a past debt that i incurred back in 2011. I asked them, what kind of debt, rep told me from a payday loan thru Webloan and I only made $125. I did not owe nor have known WEBLOAN. She is asking me to pay $405 now or if not they will send it to the court and I have to pay $1654.11 to include interests and court cost. When I asked a written documentation send to my mailing address, the rep got upset and threaten to hang up and foward my debt to be settled in court. Then, she said, I can send the validation letter via e mail. Upon receipt, there was no signature on the letter, a different phone number was provided and when I google the address, I could not find *** N. KEARNY only location was *** E. KEARNY ST and the name is not register to Dynamic Recovery Systems. Looks like this another fraud and I am getting victimized.
