RECEIVED PHONE CALL CLAIMING ELECTRIC BILLING IS UNPAID AND WILL BE DISCONNECTED WITHIN THE NEXT 45 MINUTES IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED IMMEDIATELY.
This is another number used to make these calls: 800-777-9898. This is a Duke Energy number but it is not working correctly when the caller dials it to make contact with DUKE.
NOTE: Duke Energy will never make a live call tho customer to make should a claim. The Duke-Energy policy is to email, text or send a mailer to it’s customer indicating the status of the account in question.
