The website claims to make bridesmaids and other bridal wardrobe available online for less than the cost of a retailer. I called the number available on the website, and spoke with a person about setting up different shipping addresses per dress order. I ordered the dresses in January 2015, and realized something was odd when they immediately billed my credit card for the amount (nearly $820). I had a confirmation number, and it was to be delivered by May 2015. When May arrived, nothing was shipped and the tracking page still said "awaiting fulfillment." I called the number, only this time, the call was answered and then hung up immediately several times. The next day, I was able to get a hold of someone who said they return calls within 24 hours. Still, days passed–and I heard nothing. Finally, I e-mailed them using their "contact us" spot on their website, and received several e-mails reassuring me that the dresses were still being made, and that they would arrive before my June 25 wedding. After a few weeks, I became more anxious (receiving nothing), so e-mailed again, and they promised overnight shipping for June 10. However, June 9 came, I heard nothing about the status of my order, and the tracking number still said "awaiting fulfillment." So I called, was told I would be contacted within 24 hours, and I tried to insist I speak with someone now, they told me that they did not have contact with any of the salespeople at the store. The website claims it has connection to the actual store Petite Penelope in New York, and yet I cannot speak directly with anyone there. I called nearly 4 times, my dad called, my sister called–all reaching a different operator who couldn’t help us. I e-mailed inquiring if the dresses did not arrive in time for my wedding that I would need a refund..and after this, and since June 9, they have not e-mailed me, nor did I receive my bridesmaid dresses, and when I look on the tracking information, it still says, "awaiting fulfillment." I have claimed a dispute with my credit card company in order to get my money back, and they have told me not to contact the company any further.
