Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
On June 6th I received text offer from a 83361 number to car wrap and advertize Dr Pepper logo on my car. I received a check from ProFed Credit Union in the amount of $2,390.00 re: Derrick Jackson in an envelope from Jessica Silvers and a letter signed by Andrew Cole. The letter instructed me to deposit the check and to email [email protected] as soon as I made the deposit. I looked it up here on BBB Scam Tracker and learned it is a SCAM.
