Type of a scam Credit Cards
this is an automated message that begins when you say hello. during the automated message the lady who is speaking seems to stumble over her words and sounds like it isn’t legit to begin with.
There have been 3 different automated messages that i have heard now…
1. about my cars extended warranty (don’t own a car and have never had one with ANY warranty)
2. about lowering my credit card interest rates
3. about solving my chronic pain
the message even begins with "don’t hang up, this is not a sales call"… then proceeds to ask you to press a button to speak to a representative or press a different number to be put on their do not call list… (this doesn’t work, as they have called me almost every day at 10:30am for a few weeks now. Also if you do speak to a representative they immediately hang up when you try to express your dislike for the constant calls.
