I posted a vehicle online and was contacted a few hours later. The initial communication was a phone call and I missed the call. The individual texted saying "tried calling but I guess I have bad service." Then later asked if texting is alright.The individual seemed interested in the purchase and requested that I submitted my vin to a website to see my vehicle history. The individual provided me with a link and I followed the instructions to meet their request. Minutes after submitting the information and payment, I did not have a good feeling about the situation. The individual did not ever contact me back after a "clean" report. Then I decided to call back the individual and it rang then went to voicemail. I called the website to see if they were legit but it only rang to then have an automated "all the lines are busy at this moment." I then searched the address that was provided and it was an apartment/condo building. I called our bank and canceled are cards and made them aware of the situation.
