A man called our hotel today, asked for the manager, and stated his name was Kevin Preston and that he worked for the Do Not Call Registry. He stated that he was calling to provide us with our DNC Registry Code, as our corporate office had notified the DNC Registry that we had been receiving unwanted solicitation calls and telemarketing calls. He provided a DNC code of 1728656DNC2497 and proceeded to ask us to verify information regarding our property (my name: *** ***, my title: General Manager, our hotel address, hotel phone number, hotel fax number, etc. The call ended after he asked me for my date of birth and I refused to give him the information. I did verify the other information by saying "yes". It seemed like some sort of scam so I ended the call.
