Type of a scam Employment

I received a message via LinkedIn from a friend and follower. It said, I recommended you to a company where you could make some extra money for a couple of hours a week. There was a link attached. I opened it and read the details. I messaged my follower back and asked if this was a real deal. He responded with a thumbs up.It ask you a few questions and it says they will let you know if you qualify. Then, you will get an email saying, "You’re qualified". We will send you a check and you will receive it on such and such date. **See attachment for details** I received the check and when I saw that the account was under a legitimate company that had nothing to do with "Mystery Shoppers", I immediately saw a red flag. I Googled mystery shopper scams and there were several that popped up that were exactly the same as the scam I received. The scammer is currently sending me emails saying they haven’t gotten my report yet.

NOTE: My friend and follower’s profile is NOT on LinkedIn as of today and the message box we chatted in is also gone…..

NOTE 2: There were two different email addresses that the emails came from. When I enter them in the box above for the scammers email address, I get an error saying, "Must be a valid email". The two email addresses the scammer used were, [email protected] and [email protected]
