Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Some schools in our district received an email from the business insisting they have a delinquent invoice and payment must be made by the next day or they will proceed with a lawsuit. A business rep, Ms. King has also called a few of our schools asking to speak with the school bookkeeper to insist on payment of a delinquent invoice that does not exist.
She hung up when I began to ask her some questions about the invoice and her business.
