I was looking for a used camper on Craigslist. I found one and contacted the seller, Cynthia Owen. We exchanged emails and she said that because she had moved out of state, after the death of her husband, she had set up with eBay to handle the sale. She supposedly contacted eBay who contacted me, giving me instructions on how to pay for the camper so it could be shipped. I did so, spending $1500. I then spent $500 for insurance for shipping, which was supposed to be fully refunded once the camper arrived. I used prepaid debit cards to pay. Once I finished paying I did not hear back from the seller, from eBay, and could not get in touch with anyone via phone.
