I purchased a puppy online. The site even looks legit and has testimonies. The seller then contacted me by text message showing me photos of the dog and stating that all shots are up to date. I then asked how I can pay for the puppy. He told me to pay through Cash app with the tag $JeffersnPatrick. I then sent the $750 for the dog and the cost for shipping. The seller then said he shipped the dog and gave me a tracking number. After I received the tracking number I then got a call from the shipping company. The shipping company said I needed to pay another $900 because there was a problem with the dog and the authorities are holding up the shipping. I then knew it was a scam and talked to the seller for my money back. The seller then tried to say that the shipping company is someone he works with and I need to pay the $900 to get the dog. But I will get my money back once the dog is delivered. I said if thats the case then he should put up the $900. Of course he refused. I then requested for my money back again and the seller is refusing to give the money back. I have had dog shipped before and they never use a shipping company. It’s always through the actually airlines.

I was looking for a beagle puppy as I just lost my beagle. I found Missp70.com which was taken down and changed over to charliebeagles.com. In the interim of the transition, I had seen Joe online and fell in love. I sent an e-mail and got a response from Johnson and Nadia Crawford @ [email protected] They told me Joe was still available and they had some questions for me. We corresponded for a few days. I decided to make the purchase. $540.00 for Joe and $200 for shipping. Johnson finally sent me the paypal for his wife Annah Gondosio [email protected] Sent the money friends and family at Johnson’s request. Got a response that he would be sending me Joe the next day. I received an e-mail from Frontier Freight 3 days later after going back and forth with Johnson that they needed to ship the puppy in a special crate and that it would cost and additional $2400.00. I never heard from Johnson again.

We paid $600 for puppy and $167 for shipping to akcpurebredbeaglepuppies.We were told the puppy would come on United or Delta airlines and would be in the cabin. I contacted United and they told me, yes all puppies were put in the cabin not with the luggage and the cost was $149. Imagine my surprise when we were emailed from Frontier freight the puppy would be delivered May 28 at 1:45pm to our home, not that we have to pick it up at United or Delta like the United person told me. Then the other shoe dropped. An email from Frontier freight saying the puppy had to have an electric crate because of the virus the puppy couldn’t be in the cabin, but the bottom of the plane. That’s when I found the other complaints about Frontier Freight being a scam. Should have known. We haven’t gone through with sending anymore money We are out $767, that we will live with. We are going to notify the BBB tomorrow about these people. My sister who is a breed warned me about people like this. Wish I would have listened. I’m glad I read all of your reports before we did anything else. Sorry we all had to be scammed because we wanted a puppy. We have decided to locate someone close to home for a puppy. Something we should have done in the first place. BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE!

After a couple days of communication with these people about getting a beagle names Archie shipped to me. 540$ for the dog, and 200$ for the shipping. They then asked me to wire them another 2300$ for an electric crate. When I looked this up there seem to be no such thing as an electric crate, especially for that amount of money. So I did not continue this process and I caught then in their lie and this was a scam as I asked my friend to ask for the same exact “dog” I paid for, and they quickly replied to sell the same thing to him! Do not trust these websites, emails, or phone numbers! There is no dog, just people scamming!

8/29/2019 – Purchased Bella – Longhair Mini Dachshund, dachshundbabies.com – Frank and Jane Steven, [email protected], [email protected], 16360 Hollyhock Rd., Frisco, TX 75034.
9/1/2019 – Decided to have Bella shipped to me. I was assured it was perfectly safe.
9/2/2019 – Received an email from Frontier Animal Pet Cargo, 15106 Spring Robin, San Antonio, TX, 209-382-7932, Jason Olivia, agent in charge of puppy Josh Lewis 210-686-2132. BBB.com has an address of 1926 Mayflower Dr., Dallas, TX 75208. A tracking code of 710MAMG14 was in the email saying Bella would be delivered 9/3/2019 at 9:45 am. However, I would need to wire $2,355 for a special crate to transport her since she would be transported in cargo, not the plane cabin. 95% of this deposit is to be refunded to me when the puppy is delivered. I asked where Bella was and was never given an answer. I was given a bank account and routing number to wire the money. When I emailed the seller of Bella, she said “It’s perfectly normal it’s airline policy to ensure safe delivery of your puppy and no I do not still have Bella she is with the delivery agency not to worry she is in safe hands.” The money was wired to a personal bank account in the name of Chrissie Hena, not a business. My family felt like this was a scam and told me not to do it, but I did. Because it was Labor Day, the bank was closed and the money was not wired until Tuesday morning.
9/3/2019 – When Bella did not show up as promised at 9:45 on Tuesday morning, I texted the contact number with no reply. I called the number on the web site and was told they couldn’t deliver her until Wednesday morning because they couldn’t refund the deposit until then. I told them we could deal with the money on Wednesday but wanted the puppy delivered ASAP. I was told Bella would be in Wichita at 6 pm Tuesday evening. 6 pm came and went and no Bella. I tried texting, emailing and calling without any reply. It was also after hours at the airport so no one answered the phone. The tracking number they gave me never worked, so I could not track her.
9/4/2019 – It is 9:45 am and I have not heard from anyone. I have tried calling the number on the website with no answer. I received an email at 10:15 stating I need to pay another $949 for vaccinations before she can come into the state of Kansas. She is in Saint Louis, MO airport (not sure why she is there). I assume they are taking care of her. I told them to return her to Texas and I want my money back. I have not heard back from them. Looked them up on BBB.com, they confirmed it is a scam.
What should have been an overnight shipping has turned into days. The flight from Dallas to Wichita is about an hour and a half.

    We have already finished with the processing of the CITE papers for your kitten and once you comply with this report from the SPCA Commission and insurance department, we shall proceed immediately with the delivery of your kitten to your home address.
    The act of intentionally causing the deprivation of shelter, water, food, socialization, medical care, or even maiming, torturing, mutilating, or killing an animal is the reason for this urgent mail. Animal abuse is a worldwide silent epidemic that goes unnoticed until it is too late. Lately, it has been a very serious issue around the globe which has to be taken seriously to save the lives of so many animals.
    We gained a different perspective on animal abuse, not only is it the stereotypical forms of abuse but it also animal testing. When animals are used as test subjects for different chemicals and substances that will eventually be used on humans. This type of treatment of animals is legal and is under huge debate whether or not it should be legal or illegal. “Cruelty ranges from neglect to malicious killing of animals”.
    As a new measure in place, SPCA and Pet Insurance department, which is the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has come up with a new strategy which covers all animals/pets shipped within, in, and out of the USA.
    All animal/pet shipped within, in, and out of the USA should be covered with a refundable assurance fee to assure that the new owner of the animal/pet is able to take care of the pets as the new owner.
    An amount is supposed to be paid depending on the type of pet which will serve as proof of responsibility that the new owner is able to cater to the needs of these pet’s without any stress and will also cover the Kitten for this delivery in case anything happens to your Kitten.
    All you need to understand is that the Pet transport Department has got nothing with pet insurance services. We only help to organize the shipment/ delivery of your kitten through our pet delivery aircraft and Vans to your doorstep.
    We wish to enlighten you about the following points concerning the transportation of animals with the U.S;

    1A. All animals have a life and integrity and therefore are regarded as humans in their own domain.
    2A. All animals are to be transported with a high degree of caution and safety.
    3A. All animals must be transported by an animal travel agency which is registered with the U.S Aviation Commission/ U.S Financial Bureau.
    4A. All animals are supposed to have a Life Insurance Certificate before they can travel without any problem aboard.

    Why we ask for a Life Insurance Certificate:

    1B. It shows that the owner of the animal is fully concerned about the life of the animal.
    2B. It gives its owner the legal power to take the pet delivery agency to court in case of problems during the delivery process.
    3B. We stand behind all pet owners in case of problems with the animal delivery agency during the delivery process.
    4B. The life insurance fee is to cover the caring of the animal in case of animal abandonment for 3 months before the animal is quarantined.

    Note :

    To this effect, we wish to inform you that this kitten in question does not have an Insurance certificate, which in this case must be paid and acquired before the kitten can leave our premises for your delivery.

    Insurance Payment Strategy:

    The insurance fee to be paid per animal must be equivalent to the cost price of the animal in question and this was decided by the U.S Aviation Commission / U.S Financial Bureau. Looking at clause 5A above, it shows that the cost of insurance to be paid as required by the U.S Aviation Commission is $1495 for this kitten.

    But this system brought many complaints from pet owners and beyond and so the two mother committees sat and decided to adopt the Full refund Insurance Scheme method of insurance payments. This system requires that the owner of the animals pay the total amount of the insurance fee and the total amount must be refunded in cash upon safe arrival of this kitten at his or her respective destination.

    To this effect, you are required to pay a total sum of $1495. The money will be refunded at the time of delivery by the delivery agents who will bring your kitten to you. The refund will be made in cash at the time of delivery and it will have to be refunded in total as stated in clause 7A of the U.S Aviation Commission / Financial Bureau laws.

    We also wish to inform you that your kitten will remain here until the refundable insurance fee is paid before the kitten can depart from our detention. There is no compromise on this issue. We request and advise you to treat this issue with a high degree of discretion and urgency.
