Customer Service Now

Joel – Nov 20, 2020

Email connected to company Benefit Advisory, you may have received this email from when you were returning a call. This company supplies illegal autodialing technology to companies for advertising. Fake SSDI, medical alerts, etc.

If so, the call you received was a scam; ignore it. This email no longer exists as Google suspended the address for phishing so don’t bother emailing them.

Beth – Aug 29, 2020

I got a call from a woman yesterday claiming she was from a “career services” site and got my info from me inquiring about a job. She never stated her name or company and asked me to verify my first & last name & zipcode. When she asked for my first name, I said “don’t you have that already if you’re the one responding to my inquiry” and she said she had to verify my info. I then told her she was full of [censored] and that I was reporting her information and to remove me from her call list. When I called the same number back, a man answered and asked if I could hear him, Again, he didn’t identify himself & I kept myself on mute. I then called back a 3rd time and it went to an automated recording giving me an option to remove myself from their call list or email [email protected] I then blocked my number, called back several times and kept getting the same recording. When I called again today, they gave me an updated email address that was customer service [email protected]

Katie – Apr 28, 2020

I received a call today from “Meredith”, at up to sound like a person on the line, I didn’t know it was a Robo call. I lost connection, promptly calling “Meredith” back. The answering service was the same voice. I started googling this company and here i am. Thank you all for posting, if we say back and didn’t alert others, I for one would have continued to make contact because I thought it was Medicare calling me. I just want to thank everyone that took the time to push alert. James Drury and I’ll paraphrase: if you see there’s a problem and you do nothing about it, then become part of that problem. I truly thank you all, you saved me time and most importantly my faith in my fellow man. God bless all who posted and all that are reading this in His greatest abundance in Heavenly and the things of this world you desire, this is my prayer and it’s in Jesus name i take you and those connected to you to the throne. My continued prayers for all. Sincerely Lynn Standerfer

Mary – Apr 23, 2020

Connor has been calling over and over really tired of this. Found out from these sites they are shady!

Ian – Apr 13, 2020

My programs are constantly being interrupted by the pause symbols, and it’s there for 5 minutes or more, all day long. I’ve done the trouble shooting, w/temp results.

Ramon – Apr 13, 2020

This is an non-existent email connected to various robocalls running the “yes” scam operation (the call is recorded and obtains a voice signature used to authorize fraudulent charges without the individual’s consent), for example a pre-recorded man or woman asking “Can you hear me?” will be heard when picking up the call.

These number are also used to gather active numbers for telemarketers and scammers located overseas, including LifeProtect 24/7’s free MediCare alert system scam, fake technical support, and many more operations. If you call the number back and sign up for their Do Not Call list, this will only assign your number for many more robocalls.

Joy – Apr 09, 2020

They have called me three times in less than five minutes. Every time it is the same voice, the woman identifies herself as Emily. The first time they said they were with the Housing Assistance Association, the second with the Mortgage Reduction Center, the third said they were “Customer Service”. Each time they hung up on me when I said “Oh cool, I’m googling your company now!”. After the third call I called back and got this email address from their recording.

Mindy – Mar 28, 2020

Step one -> Download Talkatone or Textnow on your phone and get a free phone #
Step two -> Call phone number back with this #, NOT your legit phone # to verify it is a scam and not someone spoofing from a legit number.
Step three -> If you think it is spam/scam go to scammerblaster dot com.
Step four -> Select carrier lookup and find out what company carries the number.
Step five -> Click more info (blog) > The ultimate method of scammer payback > ‘more info’ to get email addresses of the number carriers.
Step six -> email carrier, Just say spam/scam and give them the number and that number will get terminated, sometimes rather quickly.
Step seven -> every number shut down costs them $$$ Keep it up! I will too!
You can also report the number to the site… (not recommended) they are haughty.
PS I am not connected in any way too their site but I use it often.

Aaron – Mar 24, 2020

I get a call from these butt cracks twice daily dispute entering my name is their do not call registry.
.I blocked them also They call on phantom number.. want to prosecute for harrasnent.

Mandy – Mar 23, 2020

Well it looks like this has been going on for awhile now. Clearly cant get this under control and looks like there is NO POINT in “reporting” this. They called my phone from these 3 different numbers 304-449-5562, 304-458-5640, 304-848-3176 and every time they call its a quick recording and it hangs up. Its getting really annoying especially as my wife who works nights is trying to sleep. I call the numbers back, press 2 to be removed from list but they keep calling. This needs taken care of ASAP!

Taryn – Mar 20, 2020

I’ve been receiving these calls as well so I Google customer service now 2016 and ran into this ddreports I’ve been getting a lot of calls from unfamiliar numbers, yet when I answer they hang up. when I did get in contact with customer service I asked for name by and ID number. She said her name was Tina but she wasn’t allowed to give me her iD number which sounded fishy to me so I hung up

called us no less than 50 times sometimes like today waking my 88 year old mom. block one number they call from another…is there anyone who knows how to stop this?

Shanna –

I receive calls weekly and it’s always a recording. They state if you want to to speak to a representative press 1 or if you want to be removed from their list press 2. When you choose 1 their customer reps are ALWAYS busy and then ask you to send an email to [email protected] I decided not to press 2 to add my number to their DO NOT CALL LIST because it’s clear by adding my number to their list is really “CODE” for adding my number to many more scammer lists!

951-330-7812 called me today. The robocaller say her name is Meridith…from medicare. Meridith transferred me to a live person who claimed they say cover my final expenses from my insurance policy. They wanted me to quote an amount needed at this time…$5,000…$10,000 up to $50,000. I refused to do that. She say after verifying my info she was going to transfer my call too another agent. I asked who is she and where how did she get my information? She say…from Meridith. Well, 1st of all…I don’t currently have medicare nor do I have an insurance policy that I am aware of. She knew my 1st and last name and apparently of course my phone number and address as well. When she wanted me to tell them my birthday…I refused to provide that to her and so she ended the call with, “Well unfortunately I cant help you.” I say alright then goodbye…she said goodbye but did not hang up. So I say I’m about to call the Police right now and then I hung up. I called back…the robocaller said her name is Meridith…she ask if I was between the ages of 50 and I think she said 60. I said no. The call hung up. WTF lmao. I call Meredith once more and she told me for questions or concerns contact [email protected] jThey have my address…so that phone call left me scratching my head wondering why not just send me a letter?

Stephen –

NEVER say “yes” to any question one of these @$$holes ask you. They will then have your voice saying “YES” they can stick on to whatever question they want to con you with.

“Christy, a Medicare Representative on a recorded line. Can you hear me?”

Leaves voice mails from a multitude of phone numbers with our area code. We don’t answer calls from unknown numbers.

Call each number back on a throwaway phone:

Press one if you are from California, press two if you are not.
All representatives are busy with other customers.
Email us at [email protected]

No mention of who they are.

Clearly criminals.

Raymond –

Like many others here I received a call from an unknown number that showed to be in my area code. I missed the initial call, but called the number back to see if it was a scam… and, yes, it appears to be a Phishing scam with a spoofed number. On the redial a person answered as Customer Service Now and identified herself as “Tina.” When I responded that I was returning a call to my phone, there was no reply and the call was disconnected after about five seconds – similar to many people’s experience.

Intrigued, I called back again and was routed directly to a recorded message menu: “Select 1 – if you live in CA; select 2- if you do not live in CA.” Selection 2 got me “All service personnel are busy; email us at customerservicenow at gmail.com. Selection 1 got to selecting “3” for removing my information – which got me to another recording identifying as “Benefit Advisors” and asked me to leave a message with my name and phone number (which I absolutely did NOT do even though this group already had my caller ID information).

In for a penny I googled “benefit advisors” and found multiple similarly named organizations. For more S&Gs I called a listing for Benefit Advisors Group wherein a recorded message asked me to leave my name and phone number… so much for that.

Bottom line: my best guess is that the original call from Customer Service Now – or whoever – is a data broker that collects names and phone numbers via caller ID or people leave a message with such information (including the infamous “To be placed on our Do Not Call List…”). Just one more way people/groups profit from our personal information. Telecoms could stop number spoofing, but they do not as they, too, are likely making money from this practice.

Thanks for sharing
At first when I called back she asked me if someone called me I said yes which I hope they do not use my voice for anything.
They say it was Health Dept with an urgent message.
I was just tested on Sat I went into anxiety mode…

I got a call from a guy calling himself Robert from some place called Degree Transfers. He said that I had signed up looking a job. He was located in Florida. The thing is, I have been looking for jobs, so I trusted him and fell for it. He asked what year I graduated from high school. I told him. He asked what my highest level of school was, and I told him. Then the phone went dead. I thought we had gotten disconnected again, so I called back 617-917-9341 (a Boston number). I got a recording that said that if I lived in California, press #1, if not press #2. Then I pressed one for a customer service rep. I got an immediate recording that no one was available and to email, [email protected] I have been astounded by others in the past for being so gullible, and now I have been.

Ruth –

I received two calls from you guys and I did not answer it and then I called and got a brandy and then I hung up because I was dumbfounded thinking it was spam and if this has to do with the Kid Rock concert in 2016 I went to then please call me back

Receiving calls everyday from several different numbers on my cell phone – I always call them back from my landline to find out who they are- I always get the same recording they never give a name or number it’s always a professional female voice and they instruct me to e-mail any questions or concerns to: [email protected] – that’s it no more info -mystery and very annoying!

I received a call from 609 293-0301 on my cell. I returned the call because it is close to my cell number, but I called from my office phone because I sometimes get bad reception on my cell. The answering machine said Thanks for calling customer service. If you want to speak to a representative press one. To be placed on the Do Not Call press 2. I pressed one to see what this was about & was told all reps are busy – please email us at [email protected] So I called back to put my number on the do not call list. BUT THEN I SAW THIS ON THE NEWS… <span title="https://www.wfmynews2.com/article/news/local/2-wants-to-know/dont-say-yes-can-you-hear-me-calls-increase/83-411907639

This is offered on the ship “Grand Celebration” another ship was also mentioned but I can’t remember the name. They said they needed my credit card and the only charge would $63.00 per person. The first person I spoke with was Jonathan, then Jeff last name sounded like Burch, Could some one please stop this scam!

Man calls from a multiple relatively local numbers and says his name is Joe. He calls from a different caller id number everyday identifying himself as Joe, and it is always from a different company, but there is no doubt its the same person. He generally rambles for a few minutes then asks a question looking for you to answer "yes". If he doesn’t get his yes he hangs up.

Got a call from 916-384-9775 voice said this is a recorded call, can you hear me now. I said yes then they hung up.

I called the caller ID and a recording says to press one for customer service and 2 to be removed from the calling list. I pressed one and got another recording saying reps are busy to email request to [email protected]

I then check online to find that this is a scam and now have reported it.

Called several times a day and I finally answered phone, they asked if I could hear them. Reverse phone lookup states they are in Chesire or Manchester, CT. Calling back only gives you an option to talk to a rep (all busy so email them) or register your number with do not call. Unfortunately, I did initially say yes.

The phone with your area code rings on your cell. I never pick up my cell if I don’t know who it is. These numbers make you think it’s a friend because of the same area code. Then I call from a landline and they answer "Thank you for calling customer service. None of our representatives are available. Please email us at [email protected]" I won’t email anyone that I don’t know.

The ‘marketer’ is a computer as well as it is always the same from the same person voice but hangs up in the same spot every time. I tried to call back and the recording said to just email [email protected]

I didn’t ask him that I asked him why he hung up after he asked if I could here him okay he stumbled with his words and said he had a certain script to follow and after just a few more questions he would put me through to a representative I said I wanted to know why he hung up on me after I said an affirmative answer to his question ? He hung up on me again and when I tried to call back again several more times I recieved a recording asking me to push 1 to speak to a customer service rep or 2 to have my number put on a do not call list but I wanted to speak to someone and I stupidly pushed 1 to speak to a representative and the recording then said all of their representatives were unavailable and if I had any questions I should email them too [email protected] so I contacted the BBB and thus us where I ended up please just hang up if you get a phone call like thus and I pray to God that they do not use my affirmative answer to their can I hear them okay question to hurt me or anyone else whe recieved a phone call like this.
