Called and said they were from Credit One Bank. Asked to verify my name. Called several times per day with a heavy Indian accent. Couldn’t answer what town or state they were located in and would not give their names.

The text was sent. When I called to indicate we did not and never have had an account with them, the scammer asked for full name and social security number to "remove from phone list".

Credit One contacted me to rebuild my credit. Instead they stole my credit and hacked into my bank. Allowing untold number of hackers into my bank account and stole thousands of dollars from my wife and I. This was all with intention. I already have filed my complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and Consumer rights Organization. Credit One has stolen money from me and even used my account when my card was blocked. This has happened to untold numbers of consumers with intention. My name is Terry Walling and I can be contacted at 913-426-8233. Or [email protected]

I recently got approved for a Credit One Bank Card with a $*** credit limit. When I received the bill in the mail to make a payment the website was hard to access so I called the number for customer service. After several tries somebody finally answered my call. So as I proceeded to make my first payment the person whom I was speaking with didn’t charge the fee for making the payment since I was having issues with the website. Following month I was able to access the website and payment went thru no problem. To avoid any additional fees when my bill was due that next month I decided to pay thru my bank with Bill Pay. Not realizing it made my payment a day late so they proceeded to charge the late fee of $***. I was a little upset about that but it was my fault for not doing it in ample time. Anyway, I have tried to access the website provided to make my on-time payment but no luck. Website has a blank screen no matter which link you click on. I’m really skeptical about this company because I can never get a actual person to speak with since making my first payment or being able to access the website to process a payment. I just think this card is a scam and needs to be investigated. If anyone else has experienced this with this company please let me know so I can let my bank know and I can try and recover my funds if this is a scam.

So, this morning I had gotten a call from someone claiming to be from our credit card company. Needless to say, they had called from a local telephone number. He said we were 23 days late, which unfortunately was true, but when I told him I was going today to make a double payment, using moneygram, as we always have done, he told me NO. He aggressively continued asking for our bank information, and when I refused to give it over the phone, he got mad, and would again get aggressive. I finished by saying, I will send my payment as I have any other month, and I will NOT change the way I send it now!!! I hung up.

Credit One Bank is scamming customers !!!! Once you fill out an online application, they say you are approved for 500 or 1,000 then they ask for your driver’s license and social security card to be mailed in. Once they receive that, they will ask for a utility bill or phone bill. Once they receive that, they will call you or send a letter and say you are no longer approved. KEEP IN MIND, THESE FOREIGNERS HAVE ALREADY PULLED YOUR CREDIT !!
