Type of a scam Rental
I was looking for a place to rent on Craigslist. I found a house in Columbus Ohio listed by John Pardus. He responded to my inquiry in part saying: "actually I reside in the house with my family due to my transfer from church now established in California. We are renting the house for $500 and the deposit is $300. I want you to know that I am a kind and honest man. If you are really interested I want you to fill out the rental application. Can we trust you in our house? When do you plan on moving in. Please do not let me down. God bless you." He asked for a picture of my driver’s license.
