Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Completed a survey on line after which time I received a check, for $2,240.00 to be deposited in my bank acct. After check supposely cleared I was insructed to take $1850.00 to any Walmart and do a money transfer to a coordinator. Unable to contact anyone in Group and all numbers listed are answered by voicemail. The CHECK received has no company name, address on check listed at 545 Cherry Creek, Denver, CO. The remitter name on the check is Clay Vigoda, and issued by Citibank. I believe this to be a scam.
