Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
This was after selling an Indian traditional dress online. The dress was initially posted for $230 and the buyer asked to allow him to send me a check. I should have been careful then but I allowed him to send a check of $230. He sent me a check of $1500 and later asked to wire the money back. This was not a safe thing to do and I reported this to the bank. He keeps calling and messaging, asking to wire the money with a particular website. This definitely is a scam, so be very careful with transactions online!!!
