The caller ID listed Lake City, SC. She said that she was calling all Dominion Energy customers in the area. Interesting since my name does not appear on our energy bill, but she addressed her call to me specifically. I think that the company she referenced at first was something about Clean Energy. I noted that I was not interested and to remove my number from their list. She asked why I didn’t want to hear more. I noted that my request to remove my number should be sufficient for her. She asked, "but why?" So I asked for the company name again and she immediately hung up. I’ve received the call before but ignored it in the past since I didn’t recognize the number. This seems to be an ongoing scam.

Called from area code 209. Soliciting answers to certain questions supposedly to qualify for a complete solar system free of charge. Obviously bogus offer. Speaker with a Fillipino accent calling from California claiming that they are doing business in Hawaii.
