Searching for a puppy, we found classisaussies.com offering mini australian shepherds. I emailed the contact to get additional information. They contacted me with the cost as being $650 and additional pictures of a few puppies that we were interested in. Since they were located in Tulsa, Oklahoma they said that they could make arrangements to have the puppy sent air freight and delivered to us for $150. I said that I could drive out the following week but they said it was to far. Originally they said they would send banking information to have the money sent but then requested to do a Walmart to Walmart money transfer. I should have seen the several red flags, but I transfered the money and after the fraudulent person picked it up, I was sent an email with travel details through https://www.transexpress-logistics.com/. The tracking number given worked and gave details for the flight that same day but the status was on hold. Tried to email both sights and got no response. Originally I did a search for this company on the ScamPulse.com and nothing was found. After the last email, I looked up scams on the ScamPulse.com and found a few other incidents with this same company. Hopefully this will help others not get scammed!

Our Australian Shepherd had passed and we were trying to find a puppy to purchase. On a website, https://classicaussies.com/Available-pups.html, we found a puppy to buy. We emailed back at [email protected], and made arrangements to send money to them through Western Union. They confirmed receipt, then we received an e-mail from the supposed shipper, TransExpress-Logistics, that the crate needed to be a "Electronic Thermal Crate" and we needed to send them at least $950 to rent it, but 95% would be returned to us when the puppy was delivered.

The e-mail was quite long explaining why it was needed and what my choices were, up to $1500 for the largest crate.

I called "William Peterson" the name on the e-mail at 918 351-7884. I told him about the shipper e-mail and said our agreement was $150 for shipping. He made all kinds of excuses, I believe with an Indian/Middle Eastern accent, very hard to understand. I was disconnected 4 times while trying to confront him about this.

I found out online that this is a common scam, buying puppies online.
