Type of a scam Government Grant

Received call from foreign-sounding person, who asked for me by name, date of birth, and address. Said he was with a federal government federal aid program and had received my information from SNAP and asked me if case number (insert case number) was correct and it was. He asked me if I was a single parent with a child named (insert my son’s name) who is (insert son’s age) and I confirmed it. He then went on to tell me I was eligible for a $4300 government grant for single parents through a recent act passed by the government and asked if I had an active account with at least $4 (he later changed it to $5 during the phone call and denied he said the original amount), a credit or master card, or a PayPal credit card. When I told him I did not, he asked if I could borrow the money from family or friends to get it. I told him no that I did not that I was unemployed and no one would let me borrow the money. He asked what kind of job I was looking for and what state. I told him any entry-level jobs in Mississippi. He then said he would call back on Saturday to check and see if I had come up with the money and with information on jobs in Mississippi that were currently hiring. I found out the company’s name through my caller id because he never mentioned it or his name. I checked out the company Clarion Partners (its a real estate firm in Dallas, Texas) and the phone number traces back to them. I called the number back and a lady from the real estate firm answered but said no one from their office had called considering the office closed at 5 p.m. and she was the only one there finishing up a contract.
