Type of a scam Tax Collection
calls from Lynchburg, VA and Nashua, NH – caller claims to be from or represent the IRS and is calling to inform you of a pending law suit against however if they can stop the law suit and get you a reduced tax bill if you pay now by one of the many untraceable payment methods out there. They called mine and my wife’s cell phone and our home phone on 9/12/2016. Like I told my wife the IRS does not operate this way. This is another round of the old scam.
