Type of a scam Debt Collections

This company called my home and spoke to my husband – telling him a formal complaint was being filed against me. He called me gave me the phone number to call. When I called, they refused to give me an address of the company. When they answer the phone – they don’t use the company name. Anyway, in the conversation – they claimed that I had a payday loan that hadn’t been paid on. I attempted to explain that I had never gotten a payday loan. I was then told what my SSN was, and which bank it was deposited into. I cut the conversation short and immediately called my bank, who verified I had no deposits matching what they claimed where deposited. This is a scam. My concern now is they have my SSN and know where I bank. I have put all the credit bureaus on notice, and my bank has heightened security on my account.
