Type of a scam Utility
Caller stated they were calling from a local utility company, Central Hudson (gas & electric.). Caller asked my mother if she was (first name) (last name); she replied "yes". Caller then asked if she was currently a Central Hudson customer; my mother replied "No", at which point the caller simply hung up. This happened on a weekend evening, so no way to notify the banks until Monday. Unknown yet if any money lost.
